The first season of Attack on Titan shows a lot of promise and mostly delivers. The characters are engaging enough, and the story and mystery are really effective. The show-stealer is the design of the Titans though. They will haunt your nightmares. Unfortunately, the show isn't very subtle, and some of the plot twists are kind of obvious, but it is still very well made.
