A hard sci-fi film that challenges the theme of isolation, life, human behavior, and redemption. It has a non-linear story which will throw people off and doesn't leave you totally satisfied. But it does leave you worrying about it later on. I feel like it's mostly interested by it's haunting and grim tone. There's a lot of influences from 2001: Space Odyssey and Interstellar with dashes of Alien's aspects of life and creation. But most concepts lead nowhere and the film does feel like it tries to not be cliched. The ending is open ended and does leave you thinking of what the film was going for and what the point of it all was. Robert Pattinson bring himself out of the Twilight Fame and into a new light which should shine him into being a future Oscar winner. watch to your own apparel and if you're open minded to it, it'll be an interesting watch that mostly won't disappoint. 7.3/10
