One of my favorites from Tom Hanks. Although I always think what if instead of being able to get back into life, he kills himself at the point of return. The movie played with death at the beginning, but it all about his overcoming it. Would've been interesting to see a second attempt at his life when his wife forgot him. All of his previous relationships with normal people were mundane to him "let's go fishing"and his new experiences. Insane that they served him seafood after 4 years of being at sea. He played the role lightheartedly, but I think it should've been dark.
