I am a HUGE Spider-Man fan, so I have very high standards for Spider-Man films. Honestly, after years of trying to get it right, they finally did. This film shows who Peter Parker is supposed to be, a kid who has just be burdened with insane power and responsibility. Tom Holland brings the youth back to Peter that the others failed to do. He brings the humour while also showing the insecurity that all teenagers have. This movie is fun and doesn’t try to be some grand superhero movie. It does a great job of telling the story of a small time superhero, which Spider-Man is at this point, especially compared to the other Marvel superheroes. The villain in this film wouldn’t grab the attention of the Avengers, but of course Spider-Man would care. It really shows that he is just a kid trying to do his best to save the city he loves.
