The actual movie for the Prisoner of Azkaban was not my favourite in the movie series, however, I was so excited to see Gary Oldman cast!! Gary Oldman is one of my favourite actors and brought such an amazing performance to his interpretation of Sirius Black. The major plot twist in the story line surrounding the origins of Sirius and his relation to Harry as his godfather was mindblowing the first time I watched this. I appreciated how the movie revealed Ron's rat Scabbers as Wormtail, Lord Voldemort's second man. I really enjoyed the history of James Potter, Wormtail, Sirius and Professor Lupin and was glad they kept this in the movie as I was worried they would skim over it quickly. But I really feel Gary Oldman and actor for Professor Lupin, David Thewlis really carried the movie for me.
