sure there are a few minor issues with the CGI used in the film, but the film was essentially the stage play with much better scene dressing and an attempt at a more realistic cat costume. I love the musical cats and I think that the acting and vocal performances in this were very moving. I enjoyed watching this in theaters and would go back to see it again. Yes there were a few awkward scenes but that’s to be expected with any sort of stage performance like this when translated to film. I give this a solid 3.5 out of five stars. It would be higher if it wasn’t for the inherent problems with rushing the graphics production.
