Star Trek is a good not great reboot of the classic sci-fi series. JJ Abrams gets a lot right - the casing is fantastic, the visuals and many of the scenarios are great, but it suffers from a few plot holes and a somewhat forgettable story. That being said is very enjoyable to watch and I think they did a decent enough job with it.
