Season 2 of the HBO Game of Thrones series perfectly flowed from Season 1 and was a great follow up! The season introduced brand new faces, crucial to the book plot, such as the Baratheom family, Ser Davos and Brienne of Tarth to name but a few. My favourite episode from Season 2 was episode 9, with battle of Blackwater. Blackwater was the first time viewers felt, what seemed to be a long-time-coming, attack on Kingslanding. This is also the first time viewers see the brilliantly green wildfire being used in action which was a superb visual experience. Although, I feel I cannot give the overall series a 5/5 rating as I actually found Daenery's storyline less interesting compared to the other characters such as Jon (at the Wall and meeting Wildings).
