A version of Shakespeare's play, set in the world of warring indoor and outdoor gnomes. Garden gnomes Gnomeo and Juliet have as many obstacles to overcome as their quasi namesakes when they are caught up in a feud between neighbors. But with plastic pink flamingos and lawnmower races in the mix, can this young couple find lasting happiness?

In this cute rendition of the classic Shakespearian story, kids or families could certainly find a lot of entertainment. It's funny (a bit bizarre at points, though) and the plot doesn't fade. "Gnomeo and Juliet" could be an entertaining pick for family movie night.

The director Kelly Asbury took a huge risk in making a parody of a William Shakespeare classic play "Romeo and Juliet" when deciding to create and bring to the big screen the animation "Gnomeo & Juliet." Of course, this version of events is less tragic than the original love story that we all know - whether we like it or not. Parents watching with their children will recognise the references more in this comedy.
