Cars 2 took a beautiful concept that was done in the first movie and trashed it with the sequel. The makers really stretched and went for it on this movie with the spy theme, and it really just did not work. It probably would’ve made more sense just to call it “Mater.”

A completely different experience from the previous one, this sequel is not all about races and big stars. This time, a thriller comes to our screens when Mate joins a spy agency to save Lightning McQueen from a great threat. Although it has little to do with Cars 1, the plot is intriguing and animations are improved.
