I have watched the animated and this version of teenage mutant ninja turtles, and to be honest, I liked the animated version better. It might be the fact that the movie was rushed and it didn't slowly follow the timeline.

Have to admit that when I watched this I was kind of creeped out by the live characters even though I love the cartoon! The plot was good and it stuck to what the Ninja Turtles usually did and had the same characters! For something that was filmed in the 90s it was done pretty well!
