Kale is a 17-year-old placed under house arrest after punching his teacher. He is confined to his house, and decides to use his free time spying on his neighbors. Things start to get weird when guests enter the Turner's house and don't come back out. Kale and his friends, Ronnie and Ashley, start to grow more and more interested in what is actually happening within the house of Robert Turner.

This movie, as per its title, is incredibly disturbing and suspenseful throughout the entirety of the film. The ending is a little bit predictable but this movie has everything you would want out of a thriller- overall a very entertaining movie.

This was a pre-crazy Shia LaBeouf film that was a retelling of Hitchcock’s classic Read Window film in the modern day about a teen who is on house arrest. I love films like these that are able to craft unlikely circumstances out of a believable foundation. The films veers into very dramatic territory towards the end but I didn’t mind this too much. Not a super memorable film but not a bad one either.
