Nim's Island

This was a cute movie but I’m afraid that is all it is. The story line really is not there and the ending left me unsatisfied. I was expecting more adventure but there wasn’t much conflict throughout the movie to make it more interesting.

This movie was really cute and spoke a lot about family relations. Even if Nim and her family are stranded on a remote island, Nim is a creative girl who wants to protect her friends, family, and grow up to be a hero. Though the shooting and production could have been improved if they had a higher budget and more time, Abigail Breslin is great in her role and is able to be a role model to other young girls who crave adventure and excitement. A nice family film with good messages for the kids watching.
