The protagonists abruptly skyrockets to power and influence and thugness without any real show of how or any logical reasoning. A movie plot trying hard to fit into Bogota rather than make Bogota fit it. The whole movie you almost forget they’re not trying to be drug kingpins and just a bunch of people peddling panties.
