this movie is different from lady vengeance in the sense that the vengeance is being carried out but the antagonist, which i liked. it flipped maybe what most people expect from a revenge-driven thriller. it’s definitely a super unique thriller that leaves its mark stylistically and thematically, and i can’t help but give points for originality (bc literally who could’ve come up with a plot twist like that??) but i can’t say i enjoyed the movie, if that makes sense. it was so good, but so fucking weird. whether to give park chan wook his flowers or get him help i’m not sure. 🤷🏽♀️
