The tone of season 1 was perfect in my opinion. It showed a very grounded world with amazing storytelling, writing, directing, etc. Season 2 was definitely still good, but they left behind republic city and in turn, left behind the tone of season 1 for a much lighter one. Plus at the end the story and everything kinda gets out of control and things happen that don’t get explained why they happened.
