How I Met Your Mother
Avg 4.2
This series is really fun and easy to watch, I usually put it on if I have nothing to do just as a background. Luckily you don’t have to pay much attention to know what’s going on and you can fade in and out. It’s also good because you can really start watching at any point and there’s no need to follow the story line. The jokes are funny and the episodes are easily to watch, the only reason I deducted stars is because the characters are awful. Ted is such a jerk you don’t really want to root for him, and his friends are emotionally unstable, hard to deal with and invasive. Despite this, the show still manages to be funny as is even able to make these awful characters the butt of the joke and allow them to develop more. By the end of the series you might actually care what happens to them. However, without spoilers, the end is horrible, one of the worst tv show endings I’ve ever seen which totally negates any kind of character development that occurs over the many seasons. I highly recommend this show, but for anyone who spends time to watch the full series, please avoid the last episode, it’s for your own good. Slightly raunchy and full of good jokes, this series is a classic for television.
