"Beverly Hills Cop" is funny, but not deep or especially excellent. The acting from Eddie Murphy, as expected, is great, which makes this movie funny, despite its fast-moving plot that is filled with less than wholesome language. Definitely not a movie for kids or times when you are looking for a movie that will leave a lasting impression.
