"Kramer vs. Kramer" is a heartwarming film that make excellent use of its talented cast. The story line is believable and relatable, even if its focus is on an unfortunate topic: divorce and coparenting/custody. Even though the movie has aged, its story and the emotional impact are timeless.

I find the plot description intriguing. Especially in the 70s when this film was created, but also today; divorce is a controversial topic. When kids are involved in a divorce then it makes things all the more complicated. I desire to watch this film to see what role the son plays in the growth of both parents, and what the conclusion is.

A film that controversially beat out Apocalypse Now for Best Picture in 1980, is a well made drama about relationships, divorce, and its effect on all parties involved. Not my favorite Dustin hoffman or Streep film but worthy of a watch for a few beautiful moments.
