As a fan of this genre I decided to add this film to my watchlist. What helped convince me more that I need to see it is the ratings it has earned. the critic review website “Rotten Tomato’s” shows that not only did the critics rate it highly, but even the audience. When a majority of people just like myself rate a film so high it much be entertaining and worth their time. I will need to pick up the film soon for sure!

Although this movie is pretty old, I consider it a classical type of movie. It still draws you in with its thriller methods and it is still pretty interesting to even this date. I highly recommend this movie because it can give you a perspective that you won’t see nowadays.

This stuff is fine theatre, technically or any other way, and along with them the film is exciting for the recklessness of its independence, even if it seems to have little to be free for.

An understated Scorsese classic that features a ton of iconic actors when they were much younger. Young Leonardo DiCaprio shines in this film opposite Daniel Day Lewis in this gritty film about the underworld of 1860s New York.
