Setting aside the complete butchering of the way more interesting sourcematerial, on its own merit it is a functional entertaining movie. Its biggest flaws is that it wears its intention and message on its sleeve, but it still have fine characters and decent action.

あんまみたいと思わなかったけど、暇つぶしにみた。 最初っから冷めた気持ちでみてたけど、、、それがどっこい良いんじゃない！！？ プレヴューからもどんな話か把握できなかったから、どんな風に話が進むのかとかも興味。 結局最後まで目をがっちり見開いて映画に引き込まれてた。 スンゲー面白かった！ ☆☆☆☆★ ４点 期待間違い（良い意味で）

Great movie. Lots of fun. The set action sequences and explosions are a blast. The picture quality and especially sound quality (Dolby Atmos) on the 4K UHD discs are spectacular.
