Close Encounters of the Third Kind

평가가 좋아서 봤는데 지루했다. 허세스러운 평가 같다는 느낌 (이런건 봐줘야해! 같은 느낌)

This movie put the idea of the first contact on the forefront of sci-fi in a way never seen before, or rarely since. I loved how the story is more about our beliefs and what drives us than about the extraterrestrial. Spielberg is a master at finding our inner motivations and this film is no different.

Close Encounters is a Spielberg masterpiece, and while it may not be as fondly remembered as ET is a more thought provoking film. In this film Spielberg uses suspense and fear of the unknown to show that just because something is alien doesn't mean it's bad. A genuinely good piece of optimistic science fiction.
