"The Other Woman" is the type of romantic comedy that completely appeals to its own conventions, cutting out any room for major success from potential intelligent or insightful plots as it is just not there. Sometimes, the film was entertaining or even empowering but I just felt like these feelings were lost in the fact that the movie is a clear and definite rom-com. It definitely lacked originality.

The construction is deliberately episodic, and individual settings often appear to owe more to the modern conceptions of stage-technique than to the cinema. But the ingenuity with which the episodes are assembled sets a new level in film-construction.

This was such a fun film that I think anyone who's been cheated on has wanted to do at some point. The film follows a woman who is in love with her boyfriend, but find it strange why he's not always available and acts very shifty. She eventually discovers that he has a wife, and yet another girlfriend. Instead of all kicking him to the curb, they decided to try and keep it a secret, and plot a revenge that will leave him in pieces and destroy his life.

Typical romantic comedy. I liked the actresses and concept but I wouldnt expect too highly of this film. Similar to John Tucker must die!
