If you are a fan of Sherlock series you will definitely like this. If you have seen the drama you will better understand the movie but it is not very necessary to watch them. Benedict Cumberbatch is the best cast for the role Sherlock! Love this movie so much.

Honestly I don’t understand the hype about this show. I got very bored of it, possible because of the extremely long episodes. The character of Sherlock is unlikeable and the setting is in dreary England, so it ends up being a rather dark show. I would much rather watch a regular police show than this.

As a British person, I absolutely adore Sherlock. This is one of the best episodes of them all, with the setting closer to the original books and set in Victorian England. The story tries to solve the mystery of how a bride who started shooting in the street, then shot herself, managed to then kill her husband later in the evening. The storyline is mirrored in modern times, and is incredibly complex so you have to be paying attention for the entirety of the episode. Finally leaving the audience on a cliffhanger as is usual in the series.

OMG Sherlock. People thought this movie release was like a special edition that is separate from the TV series. I also expected the same thing but this was more like season 3.5 that you MUST watch. I loved seeing how the friendship of John and Sherlock was kind of back and forth between being them and being strangers. It was also a joy to see how the other episodes turned into the movie
