Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens

The follow-up to the original trilogy would’ve been pointless at first, but it’s still entertaining depending on what you’re searching for.

I really enjoyed this film. New actors to this popular franchise Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Adam Driver completely fit into the story. If you haven't seen the film yet I can agree with the rumors you have probably heard, that this movie follows a similar story line to episode 4. Though it seemed almost the same story line I believe this actually helped its success. The original Star Wars trilogy was a fun action packed and interesting story, but what made it so was that it didn't try to take on any political or romantic drama. What the second trilogy added to the franchise, episode 1,2, and3 did just that. They added too much drama and focused more on political councils than the life of Anakin becoming Darth Vader. Episode 7 goes back to the original theme which made me really enjoy the story and the appreciate each character. Overall I think that if you've seen episodes 1,2,and3,then allow convince yourself to watch seven because it brings the franchise back from the dead.

最後の最後でまさかあの方が！？ これから物語がどう繋がっていくのか、楽しみな作品です。

Of course The Force Awakens isn't as great as the first films, but I think this is a great continuation of the Star Wars movies. The graphics are 100 times better and is more action packed. I feel that they may have relied too much on animation and special effects and not enough on the actual storyline. However, this is still a great and awesome movie.
