A bored and domesticated Shrek pacts with deal-maker Rumpelstiltskin to get back to feeling like a real ogre again, but when he's duped and sent to a twisted version of Far Far Away—where Rumpelstiltskin is king, ogres are hunted, and he and Fiona have never met—he sets out to restore his world and reclaim his true love.

Not the best among the Shrek saga. The storyline is quite original, although very different from the previous movies . However, the plot and the main characters are poorly developed, leaving us only with the traditional Shrek we all already know. It may not be as entertaining as the prequels, yet it is fun to watch and decent if you want to laugh a bit

Is this the 50th Shrek Film? The first Shrek film is nostalgic, if anything; but they should have stopped there. A horrible film of the already tragic series.

For fans of the Shrek movies, this one is cute and entertaining - though admittedly not as much as the earlier movies in the series. If you are not a Shrek lover, you might just want to skip this one. The story line seems to fade out at the end and the humor just doesn't hold through.

I really liked the first Shrek but I found that the second one was really whatever. Shrek is duped into signing a contract where Ogres are hunted and where he and his ogre love, Fiona have never met. Thus he sets off in an animated adventure to find a way out of the contract. The first one was new, thrilling, and exciting but I felt that the second one was too generic off the first and uninteresting. Watch the first Shrek if you haven't already!
