Spider-Man 2

I have seen this movie probably more than 20 times. A classic in Marvel movies that feels like it was made before the madness that took over the Marvel universe the past 10 years. Seeing familiar faces such as Toby McGuire, Kirsten Dunst, and JK Simmons (as hilarious newspaper editor) gives such a nostalgic flash from the past. The villain, Dr. Otto, is a great one. A genius scientist who’s experiment goes wrong and becomes forever affected by it despite having a good heart deep down. An action filled classic mainstream film.

I liked the villain!

one of my all time favourite villians, I love that Sam Raimi brought to the movie a bit of the horror that he does so well. The scene when they try to remove Doc. Ocs metal arms was the best way to introduce such a horrifying villian. I also love that New York is its self a character in this universe, even though Peter struggles with maintaining the balance of the responsibility that he has as Peter Parker and as Spider Man. the city supports him and needs him like he needs them.

Great movie and love the introduction of a new villain, Dr. Otto. It’s great to watch these original live action Spider-Man movies and compare it to the new Spider-Man movies nowadays. This Spider-Man has always been the quirky one which I do really love.

Star actor Tobey Maguire returns as the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man and gives a great performance in the sequel to the blockbuster hit series. In this movie, we are introduced to another major villain from the comic book series and the story line does not disappoint
