Con Air
1997 · Action/Thriller · United States
1h 55m

When the government puts all its rotten criminal eggs in one airborne basket, it's asking for trouble. Before you can say, "Pass the barf bag," the crooks control the plane, led by creepy Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom. Watching his every move is the just-released Cameron Poe, who'd rather reunite with his family.

Although this movie is pretty old, I consider it a classical type of movie. It still draws you in with its thriller methods and it is still pretty interesting to even this date. I highly recommend this movie because it can give you a perspective that you won’t see nowadays.

This movie is one of those parodies of action movies. It contains a lot of cheesy jokes and the movie is very fast-paced. The movie is well-written and the plot is original and unique.

This movie has a pretty quick pace and doesn't give you much time to think things over. Overall, Con Air is an okay film, and if you're in the mood for fun, mindless action, it gets the job done. I'm in no rush to watch this movie again any time soon.

It's definitely the plot that makes me want to see the film, not actor Nicolas Cage. I find Cage's acting very mundane. A whole plane filled with criminals is just asking for a action packed thrill. I'm the most curious how this almost predicted ending actually ends.
