Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan really do make the perfect 90's rom com pair. If you enjoyed Sleepless in Seattle with both the actor and actress, you'll also really love watching this slightly lesser-known film. The two converse over emails and don't meet until quite a way through the film, but don't realise who the other is. It's such a heartwarming story that will have you laughing out loud and crying at other parts, to you shouting at the TV. It's one of the classics that I think everyone should watch if you're into romantic films. It's also a very easy watch that you really don't have to be concentrating that hard to watch, if you just want a quiet night in.

Isn't just a romantic comedy that defines its genre but a movie that defines the art of screenwriting and what romance stories should be.

It tries to be clever and new, but still just falls in with every other half-baked romantic comedy. Not particularly interesting or innovative, this movie is just okay. It is extremely predictable but has elements of genuine humor and sweetness.
