When the local FBI office receives a letter from a terrorist known only as 'The Citizen', it's quickly determined that he's planning his next act at the Miss America beauty pageant. Because tough-as-nails Gracie Hart is the only female Agent at the office, she's chosen to go undercover as the contestant from New Jersey.

I really enjoy this film, although I can understand that it's a very stereotypical film that doesn't really allow for the Sandra Bullock's character to really develop at all. It also sends out a very harmful message to young girls, that you basically have to be pretty for people to notice you. With that being said, it's a really fun film to watch! It's about a CIA agent who must go undercover to uncover a plot. However, the agent really isn't very feminine and has to undergo training and a makeover in order to act and look right for the pageant.

It is just okay. Sandra Bullock fans may find it more interesting, but others will finish the movie unimpressed. One positive factor is the exploration of femininity, which is a deep concept to attempt to unravel in a movie. Props to the writer for taking it on.

This film is so predictable. I won't spoil it, but you can take your own predictions based off the pot and you are probably right. A tough female cop has to go under cover as a pageant contestant ; she goes in already making judgments toward pageant girls, but learns they are more then just beauty queens.

Miss Congeniality is a classic undercover cop movie starring Sandra Bullock. The movie is entertaining and hilarious throughout, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun action/comedy.
