This fantasy-based drama is not the best remake in cinematic history. In fact, the use of the characters and dialogue remained the same. The only change was the better special effects, visuals and CGI. It is hard to tell whether I liked this movie or not because it just ended up not leaving much of an impression on me which is a shame since mythological Gods and monsters are one of the most compelling tales in the history of mankind.

This film was pretty okay. The action is fine but not good. The acting is not distracting, but not that engaging either. The plot is functional but doesn't have much in terms of depth. When you hear a modern blockbuster movie about the Greek myths, this is pretty much the movie you would expect.

I really enjoyed this film filled that incorporates lots of Greek mythology references. Perseus is a God who was raised with human parents and siblings, unfortunately disaster strikes when Hades takes his family away and down to the underworld. He then decides that since he has nothing left, he may as well declare war on Hades. I found it a really interesting interpretation of the mythology.
