I'll admit, this movie can be a bit difficult to watch at some moments. The movie was historically accurate in every important way. I have rarely, if ever, been as emotionally affected by any movie. It is brilliant, provocative, artistic, and has a social purpose. I highly recommend this to provide some insight to those that might be lacking some.

It is a well done film. I like the aspect of segregation and slavery in terms of the people of peer, the presidency and government leaders. I normally don’t like film like this but it a pretty good movie that I would recommend. The acting is very good and noteable

When this film came out it became super popular. I remember every talk show interviewing the actors and talking about what they thought of the film. I added it to my wish list because it was a winner of two NAACP awards. I hope it lives up to my expectations.
