Though uninteresting in certain ways, I do think the idea, though overused, is very well utilized here. The narrative is good, and they get some good emotional moments here and there. It is funny, it is well acted and has memorable characters. To me this movie doesn't really fail in any respect, there were just parts that could have been better.

Trading Places, similar to The Prince and the Pauper, is a fun 80s movie with an unexpected charm to it. Granted, this isn't the best film you'll ever see, but I think it's still worth watching.

Legit a hilarious film! What can you expect from a great cast with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd; both bring their great acting skills and comedy together in this film to make it enjoyable till the end.
