Summer Wars
Kenji is your typical teenage misfit. He’s good at math, bad with girls, and spends most of his time out hanging out in the all-powerful online community known as OZ. His second life is the only life he has – until the girl of his dreams, Natsuki, hijacks him for a starring role as a fake fiancé at her family reunion. Things only get stranger from there. A late-night email containing a cryptic mathematic riddle leads to the unleashing of a rogue AI intent on using the virtual world of OZ to destroy the real world. As Armageddon looms on the horizon, Kenji and his new “family” set aside their differences and band together to save the worlds they inhabit in this "near-perfect blend of social satire and science fiction."

ネット世界のOZという場がAIによって乗っ取られる、AIが知識欲を持った世界線でのお話。 とにかく作画が細かい且つ綺麗でずっと見ていられる作品。夏の青空とおばあちゃんが亡くなってしまってどんよりと剣呑な雰囲気の縁側との対比だったり、OZワールドにおいての色彩美、道路標識や電車内の風景まで細部へのこだわりを隅々まで感じ取ることができた。自分の家は親類とも疎遠で、食卓を大勢で囲むということも無いので、陣内家 の食卓の雰囲気に呑まれそうになりつつも憧れを抱いた。というか陣内家に嫁ぎたい、あんな風な家に住めたら幸せだよなあ。長野県上田市は若干田舎だと思ってしまうので、小田原あたりに平屋欲しい。平屋暮らししたい。おばあちゃんの生き様や言葉がモロ心に染みてボロ泣きしました。

디지몬 우리들의 워게임의 감독 호소다 마모루가 자기 작품을 카피? 해서 디지몬에 벗어나 만든 영화 꼬꼬마였던 나에게는 오메가몬의 위엄때문에 그것보다 높은 점수를 못주게됨

This is THE movie for me when summer is on its way. Such a nice graphic that captures the summer so well. The setting of the movie is very interesting. That we have a virtual world on our phone, where people can interact with other and do anything for the basic needs. It’s similar to our lives today but how they translated that into screen is so fun. The images have Murakami’s feel to it. If you enjoy his work you might like seeing them coming to life as well. Overall loved the movie the story line is great. I recommend!
