Japan of the near future –– Government program Plan 75 encourages senior citizens to be voluntarily euthanized in order to remedy a super-aged society. An elderly woman whose means of survival are vanishing, a pragmatic Plan 75 salesman, and a young Filipino laborer faces choices of life and death.

영화는 시종일관 노인을 죽어라고 등떠민다. 주민등록증이 없이도 죽을 수 있으며, 가족, 자녀가 오지 않아도 된다. 65세로 낮추는 방송이 흘러나오고, 굳이 굳이 노인들 무료급식소 앞까지 찾아와 플랜75를 상담한다. 너무 노골적으로 죽음을 이야기하는게 아닌가 라는 불편함도 들었다.
