X-Men: Apocalypse

The one that could've been really good but fell short.  This delivery of the X-Men Universe gives us a glimpse into a more matured mutant world, but it's lazy writing just keeps me from feeling that the characters have matured with them.  Overall, nothing way too bad but also not as good as First Class. Nothing really standed out for me, even Magneto's new life felt a bit too forced, but guess you had to get him out of Poland one way or another. Ensemble cast feels okay, I cared enough for most of them, but Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse was just too much of a Bond-like villian: too cheesy, too relaxed, not enough motivation.  The way they diss on X-3 tho lmao.

The best thing of this movie is simply the villain: an ancient mutant ready to end humanity. Although the prequels have had amazing storylines, the role of the villain this time is stronger and definitely brings thrill to those watching. New cool characters and slow motion scenes are also a big plus for this amazing movie

Always a fan of superhero movies. And this one was one to be amazed about. To learn about the first mutant and to watch the x-men team battle and win in battle was a sight to see.

Another really well made film in the X-Men universe. This film definitely has some flaws and errors in the X-Men timeline but it certainly provided an amazing opening sequence using the Egyptian Pyramids and a villain that I was legitimately scared of. The new younger upcoming X-Men made it a bit cheesy for my liking.
