When megalomaniacal White Goodman, the owner of a trendy, high-end fitness center, makes a move to take over the struggling local gym run by happy-go-lucky Pete La Fleur, there's only one way for La Fleur to fight back: dodgeball. Aided by a dodgeball guru and Goodman's attorney, La Fleur and his rag-tag team of underdogs launch a knock-down, drag-out battle in which the winner takes all.

It's a very immature and dumb cliche sports comedy, but damn if it isn't funny. Humor, of course, is very subjective, but I find this film hilarious. All the characters have very distinct personalities and are very well portrayed, by their respective actors. It is just so quotable and insanely lovable.

A goofy sports movie that does an amazing job of getting the audience to laugh and smile. The cast and crew were able to take a simple sport like dodgeball and make it so over the top and exaggerated that it became a big success in the early 2000’s comedy scene

This film doesn’t always get mentioned when talking about the best comedies of the 2000s but it really deserves to be. No comedy of this time was as creative to make a film about rival dodgeball teams that take the sport so seriously and has people from all over the world watching. The matching purple suits and taunts Ben Stiller does after striking the dodgeball so hard at his opponents, never fails to make me laugh. As well as the 7 rules of dodgeball archival footage!
