I thought the story for Flight was fascinating. It's the sort of film that requires something of the viewer. You can't watch this without making moral judgements and that process requires each viewer to evaluate how they feel about certain subjects. I love movies that require some thinking, and this is definitely the perfect movie for that.

Besides the fact that Denzel Washington is a magnificent actor, I find this film at the top of my list of desired films to watch. I find the plot very current. Though I would hope no pilot actually relates to this film, I feel like it's a down to earth subject and would love to see how it plays along.

The film opens with a pilot doing lines of coke and boozing only hours before takeoff that morning, letting you know this is not going to operate as a conventional film. I love where the film was taken to. The characters were likable even if they were doing questionable things. The story had this natural and non judgemental rhythm to it that was contagious. Another brilliant performance by Denzel Washington.
