I loved this movie/musical as a kid and watched it many times. The plot and songs are known to so many people that watching this movie (the original!) could really be considered a cultural experience, too. It’s been a while since I’ve seen The Sound of Music, but I’m sure I’d enjoy it if I saw it again now, too.
