Director Martin Campbell's "The Mask of Zorro" has something that is not always common in modern action movies; a sense of duty and honour." While watching the movie, I was surprised to recognise that the movie rises above the explicit Hollywood stamp upon action-packed dramas. Maybe this was because of the impeccable performances from actors Antonio Banderas and the infamous Anthony Hopkins as the young and old character of Zorro. Zorro is almost like a superhero with his responsibilities to defend and keep the oppressed safe. No one can deny that the acrobatic slash of Zorro's rapier to make the mark of a "Z" is an iconic image in cinematic history.

The Mask of Zorro is a great movie that doesn't disappoint. The acting and action is great, and will leave anyone satisfied. The storyline can seem a bit cliche, but it doesn't take away from the film at all. This is overall a great movie that everyone needs to see.
