The Blind Man has been hiding out for several years in an isolated cabin and has taken in and raised a young girl orphaned from a devastating house fire. Their quiet life together is shattered when a group of criminals kidnap the girl, forcing the Blind Man to leave his safe haven to save her.

This was a decent movie on its own, as I have yet to see the first. I feel that you probably don't need to see the first Due to the well-written storyline and well-constructed characters within the film. I found it to be entertaining and not a Trump field bore like most modern horror movies tend to be. It was nice to see something that felt well constructed in this genre again.
