With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale, Finnick, and Peeta – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

I love this entire franchise, and I think Jennifer Lawrence and all the other actors pulled off another stunning performance. This film is the fourth in a four part film series, and is the perfect ending to the films which will leave you slightly frustrated, but is true to the book. I think that it worked really well splitting the film into two parts, because in my opinion, the book felt far too rushed. As with all the films, the set design was amazing, and so realistic and close to what I imagine life could be like in the not-so-distant future. The costume designers again outdid themselves, and you get to see the resilience of the characters and decide if what the rebels are doing is morally right, or whether you would decide that things have spiralled out of control and they're becoming more like President Snow's administration.

This movie is probably the worst among the saga. It gets long after a while and there is little action for most of the movie; plus very predictable. The end of the movie is the only part that one could possibly enjoy, but maybe it is not worth the wait

The second series of the hunger games. Majority sequels never live up to the first movie. And this is true for the hunger games as well. After the introduction of the first movies, the second one didnt show case anything new

The finale to the Hunger Games was solid at best. Following Harry Potter’s pattern of splitting up the finale definitely loses some of that urgency and feeling of climax that we build towards in the first few films. The world that was created in this film was super interesting and I loved how the Hunger Games political issues get taken outside the game and affect everyday life. This film is very well made with a few unexpected twists and turns but overall, remains flat as I grew tired of seeing Jennifer Lawrence’s character fake cry or “fake act” for propaganda stunts.

The fourth and final movie of The Hunger Games trilogy. This movie picks up where the last movie ended. Katniss and the rebellion are in the middle of a war against Panem, the capital. Katniss is the face of the rebellion and is determined to take President Snow down. She encounters many obstacles, most of which are close to her heart, but she must be strong for everyone.
