Ahh. Thor never really got my attention despite the large muscles, god-like face of Chris Hemsworth, and giant hammer. I also hated the Natalie Portman played a role that didn’t seem to fit her as the damsel in distress in this one. Thor is a film that takes itself too seriously and hasn’t really established its superhero rules yet of what Thor/his universe are capable. Better off watching the Captain America films.

thor, the son of odin, the protector of asguarth. This is a movie about a god and his challenge in obtaining the throne. His father will send him to earth to learn more about it, his brother will try to kill him.

Another brilliant movie from Marvel, Thor is exciting from beginning to end. The animations and special effects are truly breath taking and make you feel as if Asgard is a real place. Along with action and adventure, the film has bits of comedy, too. I would definitely recommend this movie.
