Better than the original, but not that good. While the original was boring and inaccurate, this is more action packed true to the story. Whether or not that is a good thing is hard to say. It is still not a good horror movie though. I didn't feel scared, the atmosphere never got to me, and i wasn't that invested really.

The Amityville Horror is a classic horror film that follows a family moving into their new dream home, but everything isn't as perfect as it seems (as most typical horror movies are). This movie is scary at all the right moments and is bone-chilling to watch. This movie is a must for horror lovers.
