In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney’s “Christopher Robin,” the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.

Okay at first I was gonna give this film five stars, but I had to actually think about the character building. I do have a bias for this film because I grew up watching Winnie the Pooh; but to be honest I found they failed to tell Christopher Robbins story. We only get one scene of him as a child with Pooh and his friends, then a quick flip through his life growing up. It was hard to then believe this work Holocene was ever a fun child. You are unable to feel connected to the plot of trying to get him to realize he has lost his fun side when you never saw it. Overall it's a touching film, but I do wish it was a more memorable story.

I absolutely loved the Winnie the Pooh stories when I was young and have wanted to see this movie since I heard about it. From what I've heard, it leaves a bit to be desired compared to the original stories, but I suppose that is to be expected. It has been so long since I've seen or read Pooh that I think it would be a refreshing reminder of the stories, anyway.

I have not watched this movie yet but I was an avid reader and supporter of Winnie the Pooh and his crew since birth. I would like to watch this movie to see what has happened to Pooh and Christopher Robin as a grown up.

Very cute movie I loved it! Made me miss my days when I use to love Winnie the Pooh as a kid. Wish the movie had more to it but I mean it’s only the first live action movie. The voice actors did great and Christopher Robins also portrayed him as a grown up very well!

Because of the heart and some familiarities with the Winnie the Pooh franchise, and for having its own identity with the story, this is arguably the most respectful Disney live-action remake.
