A much-needed tangent to the superhero genre finding an off-beat but absorbing narrative in a ragtag team of villains. Every major character is well-rounded and has great humor throughout. Ultra formalist violence adds to the tone and some beautiful cinematography to look at. A great addition to the DC universe.

This was a fun movie from start to finish! It is rare to find a movie better than the original, but I believe this does that. These characters were all much better written with solid parts to play in the end. I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. Even though some of the cgi was a touch to bright in some places, nothing seemed out of place. Harley benefitted from her character development from birds of prey but the actual surprise act was the rat catcher. Her bond with idris’s character made the whole film.
