Lightning McQueen, a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed, discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line, when he finds himself unexpectedly detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs. On route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to compete against two seasoned pros, McQueen gets to know the town's offbeat characters.

This is quite a different animation movie depicted the cars as real people, and giving them human emotions, characteristics and even some human-type appearances. Lightning McQueen is the top racing champion, but manages to find himself in a tiny rundown town on Route 66. At first, he is very stuck up and entitled, but he soon learns that he didn't used to be like that and he can still have fun with other cars. There's even a romantic interest, which the audience ends up feeling attached to, which I think is pretty impressive considering it's an animation movie about cars!

I feel like a lot of people enjoyed the "Cars" movie much more than I did, but it was still a cute, lighthearted story that was worth watching once. The diverse characters are quite cute and it's certainly a story that kids can relate to and enjoy. I'd watch it with kids but probably not otherwise.

A nice feel-good animated movie about a famous race car driver who becomes lost in a remote city and struggles to find his way back to the big city in time for the championship race. There are many different characters and personalities present in the movie which make it enjoyable for audiences of all ages.
