For a romantic comedy, aimed at the younger generation audience, To All The Boys I've Loved Before highlights brutally honest and subversive takes on the dating world, ironically, in a way that is still unobtainable and just aspirational.This mix of ingrediants for a typical teen rom-com are stirred together to create a goal for the movie to achieve which I believe it did. However it did not reach beyond the genre type.

I know a lot of people liked this movie but I really didn’t enjoy it. I thought it was super cheesy. Thumbs up for an Asian actress tho!

고등학생이 되어서 본 하이틴 영화 중 가장 재밌었다. 연출이나 각본에서 아쉬운 부분들이 장면 장면 있지만... 그 시절 Peter Kavinsky 는 모든 여고생들의 마음을 울렸다...

First of all kudos to the cast and to jenny han!! This is probably biased but i’ve watched a few book adaptations and they could be good but this movie really isn’t, but yeah, this is coming from someone who read the book. Idk how better it would be if I didn’t read the book so just look at the other reviews, but anyways if you’ve read the book I suggest you just stick to it.
