I was hoping that the childhood animation "Hop" was going to be more inventive as it was one of the first movies on screen to focus on a seasonal holiday that was not just Christmas or Halloween. There is no denying that the Easter bunny style was cute, however, this movie was far from being a true masterpiece or one of a kind. The plot and story unfolds to reveal another generic and predictable holiday movie; a shame really.

This movie is definitely a children’s movie. It lacks an engaging story which makes the story dry and forgettable in most places. But, for children, it is a good easter movie that will engage them.

I understand they wanted to create a cute kid friendly film, but honestly it was just a cheap lacking film. "Hop" tries too hard to fit all the predicable kid jokes in one lousy film.

I personally did not care for Hop. I thought the plot are characters were nothing special and overly predictive, not to mention the talking bunnies gave me the creeps. It's a good kids movie and some adults might like it, but I'm in no hurry to watch it again any time soon.
