U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle takes his sole mission—protect his comrades—to heart and becomes one of the most lethal snipers in American history. His pinpoint accuracy not only saves countless lives but also makes him a prime target of insurgents. Despite grave danger and his struggle to be a good husband and father to his family back in the States, Kyle serves four tours of duty in Iraq. However, when he finally returns home, he finds that he cannot leave the war behind.

重ーい映画だった。終始アメリカ人的な視点で描かれるので、敵側家族の心情をも察してしまう日本人の私にはちょっと感情移入出来なかった。

The man who snipe in the movie had a humanity until finished the film. We have to recognize the soldiers agony and sacrifice for our safety. Because they are human before they are soldiers. Plz respect them.

Bradley Cooper in American Sniper should have been a concept that I would have adored, however I only found this movie just above average. And what can I say? This is because after a couple of hours, I was just being smothered with a pillow of American War Propaganda which just left a bitter taste in my mouth. Cooper's acting was by no means awful, the storyline and plot was just one that I, unfortunately, knew too well as it tends to be repetitive in modern American War films. However, despite this, I will admit scenes of action were suspenseful and almost watchable.
